Connor has been dying to have another dog. His last one ran away. I don't know why he was a very spoiled dog but my guess is the female that lived down the road. Anyway his birthday is Dec 10th so I was thinking a dog would be great for him. I started the search needless to say I didn't get very far. I like the adoption idea. If your going to spend money on a dog why not get one from a shelter. It's so sad they are stuck in kennels or pens just horrible. So, I searched petfinder and there she was.

I had to go check her out. It said Chiuaua but she is a chiuaua dachshund mix. I absolutely fell in love with her so I was back there at 4:15 picking her up. Then we were off the petco to buy supplies. PUH dog stuff is expensive!!! I got her home and surprised Connor I know it's still 3 wks til his bday but I couldn't resist. She thinks she is a queen!! She has to sleep under the covers at my feet. On top of the covers with a blanket will not work for her. She is the cutest thing ever!!!

The Paths we choose to take!!

Wow lot's has happened since my first and only blog. My husband and I reconciling. I am glad and I have faith that things will work out. He was my best friend and I am so happy that I will have him back. 14 years is a lot of history to let go out the window. I am going to hold on to it with everything that I have and make this work!!!! Let you know what happens!!

What's next

I am new to this blogging thing. I read some blogs yesterday and I thought wow free therapy. We can all use some therapy and the way things have been for me the last year I am in need!!!

Where to begin?? I am a mother of a 5 year old named Connor. He is the absolute love of my life. I wouldn't have him if it weren't for my soon to be exhusband Sean. We were high school sweet hearts and we were together for 14 years before the BIG split. I know wow 14 years!! That is a lot of time to have invested in someone and give it up. It has been hard very hard because he was my best friend. I don't know if it ever gets easy but life has to go on. Right? Our divorce won't be final until December of this year. I moved out of our house and moved back to Arkansas May 17th. I am glad I made that decision and things are starting to get better. Louisiana ( where we lived for 3 years) was wonderful and made some good friends but there's nothing like living next to your momma in a time of crisis!!

So my question is whats next??
